Your Pet/s is welcome however please remember that our cottages are not fenced and this needs to be considered in advance.  

General Policy:

Please inform us in advance if you are bringing a pet. Also inform us of the race and age of the pet/s.

Pet Fee: Free of charge

Pet Limit: A maximum of two pets per unit is allowed.
4.
Pet Age: No pets under 1 years old will be allowed.

Pet Guidelines:

No pets to be left alone inside the cottage for whatever reason. Even if it's for a short period of time!
6.
Cleanliness: Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste disposal bags are provided and should be used to dispose of pet waste in designated areas.
7.
Please provide OWN pet bedding and bowls.
8.
Furniture: Pets are not allowed on furniture, including beds. A cleaning fee of R300.00 will be charged and billed to guest's account if any stains is left on bedding/furniture due to pets.

Liability:

Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pets. A repair fee will be charged for pet owners account at contractor rates if necessary.
10.
Injuries: The lodge is not responsible for any injuries or accidents involving pets. Owners are liable for their pet's behaviour and any harm it may cause to others.
11.
By bringing your pet to Bethesda Mountain Lodge you agree to comply with this pet policy. Failure to follow the policy may result in additional charges or termination of your stay.

Pet-Friendly Bushveld Cottages – Flexible Cancellation Policy

Vehicles:

** There is a 1.4 km gravel road leading to your cottage and will be accessible with a normal sedan vehicle.

 

1.
The lighting of our units is powered by solar batteries during power outages. An additional hand operated battery light is also available.
2.
Units are not equipped with air-conditioning but fans are available in the main bedroom and loft sleeping area.
3.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, gas kettle, microwave oven and double door fridge, as well as all necessary kitchen and braai utensils.
4.
Firewood will be provided (Please provide own firelighters).
5.
We don’t stock any ice or drinks other than tea and coffee in the rooms. The water in all units is potable as it is pumped from a borehole. Please be mindful of the value of water and use it sparingly. Please feel free to also bring your own bottled drinking water if you wish to do so.
6.
Vodacom Cellular reception is generally poor. With MTN you will be able to make phone calls and there is mobile data reception close to the unit. We apologize for the inconvenience.
7.
Free uncapped Wi-Fi is available.
8.
You will be in nature so do expect flies, bees, mosquitos, spiders and frogs depending on the time of year. If you have allergies please remember to bring your medication.
9.
The closest shops, malls, take-aways and restaurants are in and around Hartbeespoort, 13km from us. Alternatively, you may buy basic necessities from Freeway Filling Station and Liquor stores within 1km from us.
